Well, today is my 11th day of post Clean/post Gut....and I just wanted to check in and let you all know how things are going!
I'm still having a morning shake....and lunch & dinner are packed with veggies and good protein. I really haven't added much back, as I had already been dairy-free and basically gluten-free. And sugar free. I do have bananas now....and grains once in a while. I haven't been snacking much...maybe a piece of fruit or some cashews...or walnuts. I'm down 11 lbs last time I checked. My BMI is 24 (down from 26-something), and my body fat % is in the 30's (down from 48). I don't feel the need to weigh myself, I can see the difference (love handles are gone!) And I can slip my jeans off without unzipping or unsnapping them! BTW, this is all w/o my usual workout routine, as I'm still just doing pt 3x week as a result of my knee surgery!
My skin is clear...I don't need anything to help me sleep....and...get this! I've completely lost my taste for COFFEE! Tried a cup on my first day post-cleanse, took 2 sips and dumped the rest!
So, hang in there, anyone who's struggling! Use all the resources available to you on this site. Try to find a buddy to do it with you...but, even if you can't, post here everyday....it helps keep you accountable! And TAKE ADVICE from those who've gone before you....there is loads of wisdom here...seek it out! !!
