For the first time in more years than I care to remember I didn't make a New Year's resolution to "lose weight and get healthy"...I didn't make that resolution because I didn't have to, thanks to the Clean program. Last March I did the Clean cleanse for 6 weeks and, later, the Clean Gut program for 6 weeks. Saying that it changed my life is an understatement--I've lost 40 pounds since then and my cholesterol and blood sugar levels are now normal, without the need for medications. I've learned so much about what to eat and how to eat from Dr. Junger's (and other) books and this website, but I think one of my biggest lessons was that it wasn't just what I did during the cleanse and Clean Gut program that mattered, but what I did in the months following--what started as a "program" has since become a lifestyle. I'm so grateful for the Clean Program and everyone who's part of it!! Another first for me...my weight after the holidays was the same as my weight before the holidays!
